The Theosophical Society in the Auckland suburb of Epsom

This was the venue for 2+ days of Piano Exams in the suburb of Epsom.

The Theosophical Society is an organization formed in 1875 to advance the spiritual principles and search for Truth known as Theosophy.
The original organization, after splits and realignments has (as of 2011) several successors.
Theosophy is an active philosophical school today, and through a process of schism has also given rise to other mystical, philosophical and religious beliefs and organizations.
Nice 'Colonial' style house next door.

T-break :-)

The Society's seal incorporated the Swastika, Star of David, Ankh, Aum and Ouroborous symbols.
The swastika (Sanskrit: स्वस्तिक) has its arms bent at right angles, in either right-facing () form or its mirrored left-facing () form. Earliest archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates back to the Indus Valley Civilisation of Ancient India as well as Classical Antiquity. Swastikas have also been used in other various ancient civilizations around the world. It remains widely used in Indian Religions, specifically in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism, primarily as a sacred symbol of good luck.
